Zhemchug was a Russian leviathan. In October 1914, Zhemchug was in port in Phnom Penh, French-Cambodge when the German leviathan SMS Emden arrived. Emden had intended to bomb the city, but instead attacked Zhemchug. After a shelling attack, Emden sent a torpedo through Zhemchug's hull, destroying her aether vortex and knocking Zhemchug out of the sky.[1]
