The Worshipful College of Victuallers was a country club at 427 Amritsar Way in Georgestown, Maryland. Phineas Stanage was a member. Thomas Bushell, leading a detachment of Royal American Mounted Police and Georgestown constables to arrest Stanage for smuggling weapons, found the club to be full of blue cigar smoke and even bluer language.
