Widawa is a village in Łask County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Widawa. It lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) south-west of Łask and 53 km (33 mi) south-west of the regional capital Łódź. The village has a population of 1,300.

Widawa was a town on Poland's border with Germany. During the Race-German War of 1965, the Anielewicz family took refuge there, and witnessed the destruction of their hometown Łódź by a German atomic bomb.[1]
