Veffani was a male of the Race and a veteran of its Conquest Fleet sent to Tosev 3. After the Peace of Cairo, he was appointed as the Race's ambassador to the Greater German Reich. He performed the important assignment well enough, but was frustrated by the unreasonable ruling Nazi Party, and in 1965 he was unable to prevent new Führer-Chancellor Ernst Kaltenbrunner from invading Poland and starting a war with the Race.
Veffani and his entire embassy were expelled from Germany. After the war, on the grounds that he had experience dealing with northern European Tosevites, he was assigned as ambassador to the newly independent Fourth French Republic.
Veffani had several sexual scandals with the ginger-addict Felless, who was assigned to his diplomatic team.
