V'Zek was the high warlord and supreme ruler of the M'Sak tribe of the G'Bur species on planet L'Rau. He embarked on a conquest of the T'Kai tribe, just as the latter was being visited by the human crew of the merchant vessel Flying Festoon. The Festoon's crew studied his career, and determined that V'Zek was a tyrant with a personality similar to Chingis Khan.
