A female Boomer, born in 1963 towards the very end of the Baby Boom, held the office of President of the United States during the Quebec-Maritimes crisis. Many of her cabinet members were Xers and Wires, and there was often palpable tension between the President and her cabinet, due to the controversial Twenty-Eighth Amendment to the Constitution.
The Prime Minister of the Maritimes pleaded for American aid for his country, as the crisis spread dangerously close to the U.S. state of Maine.
