The USS Rumsfeld was a United States Navy warship during the Sino-American War of 2117. It was named after a Secretary of Defense from the early 21st century.
The Rumsfeld was a lightly armored, high speed hovercraft. Top speed was 63 knots. It depended on speed and sophisticated electronic spoofing to fulfill its missions. It was armed with several 105mm gun turrets along with lighter guns.
During the war it was sent on a mission to shell Catalina Island. On its high speed approach, it appeared to run into a giant brick wall, causing sufficient damage to sink it.
