Thettalos in "The Daimon"[]

Thettalos was an Athenian statesman and opponent of Alkibiades. He arranged for Alkibiades to be charged with heresy. However, after Alkibiades defeated Syracuse and Sparta, he had substantial support from his military for the conquest of Athens. Alkibiades personally captured Thettalos and his co-conspirator, Androkles, who yielded and were spared.[1]
