"The Boring Beast" is a short fantasy story by Harry Turtledove, co-written with Kevin R. Sandes, Amazing Stories 7/88; Kaleidoscope, Del Rey 1990; 3xT, Baen 2004. It is a parody of the sword and sorcery genre, and the writings of Robert E. Howard in particular.
This is a tale of Condom the Trojan, a strong-bodied but dull-witted barbarian warrior, and his battle with the Boring Beast.
