For the record, I'm not working on articles for this one for at least a week.  TR (talk) 21:19, December 10, 2017 (UTC)

The New Guy's Lit Comm[]

I'm inclined to delete. It's got the patronizing hand-holding feel of quite a few lit comms, which by itself I could live with. But beyond that--we know what this is really based on, and redirecting the reader's attention does the story a great disservice. Turtle Fan (talk) 16:51, May 22, 2019 (UTC)

It's not very necessary; the section of the article before the spoiler warning probably describes things in enough detail that the casual read will "get" that it's based on North Korea. I could see incorporating something directly on point into the main body. "While the reader is initially invited to believe that this story is about North Korea, etc. etc." Something to that effect. I agree, adding to the main body spelling it out is the better way to handle it. ML4E (talk) 17:10, May 23, 2019 (UTC)

Year of setting[]

I guess this would logically have to be taking place in the late 2030s or early 2040s, if Kim was born after January 2017 but Trump is still alive when she is a young woman. Unless he has the longevity of Charles Montgomery Burns.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 11:00, August 22, 2019 (UTC)

Alternate History[]

Currently, this story is "set in the future of OTL." But in November, all registered US voters with the slightest shred of decency will go to the polls and make sure that this story becomes AH!Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 12:06, May 10, 2020 (UTC)
