Another stealth release. Like "Nine Drowned Churches", we probably won't get it here until next year or so. TR (talk) 16:43, October 19, 2019 (UTC)

I wonder if it has continuity with "The Fillmore Shoggoth," which also used AtMoM as its basis.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 18:17, October 19, 2019 (UTC)
I'd be surprised. It sounds like Schweitzer has a specific unifying theme for this anthology. Joshi took a more laissez faire approach. TR (talk) 18:53, October 19, 2019 (UTC)

For the untwitted:

"Just got my author copy of Darrell Schweitzer's Lovecraftian anthology, Mountains of Madness Revealed, with my "The Hill of the Beast" in it.

The Spanish Civil War. The Abe Lincoln Battalion. The Ebro, 1938. Shoggoths.

What's not to like?"

Glad to see the research for TWPE begat more stuff. TR (talk) 03:16, October 23, 2019 (UTC)

According to Amazon, my copy of Mountains of Madness Revealed should be coming in the next week or so. I'm looking forward to this one, especially since the HC was published in 2019, and the premise sounds like a fun way to engage HPL. While "The Colour out of the Shadow" is not a bad story, it leans more "cute" than substantial. (You'll see what I mean when I start banging out articles.)

Now if only "The Hall of the Montezumas" would become more readily available... TR (talk) 18:06, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
