HT loves to set his "normal, everyday life" pieces in southern California. I suppose it's natural to consider one's home area the default for the ordinary or control group with which to experiment with changed circumstances. Still, I wish he'd spread it around. I feel kind of like I'm taking part in a conversation with someone who keeps making inside references for the benefit of a select group of other listeners. Turtle Fan 19:38, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

How is that different from other HT works? TR 19:52, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
That's my point: I wouldn't mind a little localism if he spread it around, but they're all, ALL, the same locale, unless there's something absolutely necessary to the story that requires it be set elsewhere. Turtle Fan 20:38, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
