This title and subsequent redirects need standardization. Is it "Slue-Foot" or "Slue-foot" i.e. is the "foot" capitalized or not? At the moment, we have some of one and some of the other. ML4E (talk) 22:12, November 30, 2018 (UTC)
- I noticed that as well. It makes the current explosion of overly complicated titles even more irritating. Turtle Fan (talk) 23:05, November 30, 2018 (UTC)
- The story title is capitalized, the character's moniker isn't. I deliberately followed this odd case of author intent when setting up everything.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 07:43, December 1, 2018 (UTC)
- Should we go ahead and capitalize "Foot" or not? I only created the Slue-foot Sue article with its current spelling because that's how the link was pit down. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 14:30, December 1, 2018 (UTC)
From the discussion above, Slue-foot Sue the character should have the lower case "foot" but the redirects are using the story title and so should have the capitalized "Foot". This is in keeping with the actual work where the story title would get capitalized in places where characters and such within the story do not. Any objections or should we go with this? - I think we should. Turtle Fan (talk) 18:56, December 1, 2018 (UTC)
Edward O'Reilly and Alexander Afanasyev[]
I see no reason to create articles or even Lit. Allusions for either. Therefore, the red links should be removed. ML4E (talk) 20:20, December 3, 2018 (UTC)
- They are the specific literary sources for this pastiche, so it is appropriate for them to have sections in Literary Allusions in Turtledove's Work.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 20:38, December 3, 2018 (UTC)
- I've done some more research into the matter, and there are alot of further subtle allusions in the story, which merit a list in a Lit Alls section.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 10:53, May 7, 2019 (UTC)
- About a year later and Edward O'Reilly is still showing up as a red link. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 22:00, December 31, 2019 (UTC)
Pictures[]
I found pictures by Laura Bannon of Bill, Sue, and Bean from a 1937 book, but couldn't figure out how to set them right side up. I trust that can be fixed?Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 01:38, January 16, 2019 (UTC)

- Never mind, I figured it out.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 07:07, January 16, 2019 (UTC)
