The first incorporated village in the entire state of Wisconsin. You'd think it would have a larger population by now.
- Vagaries of the economy. Leadville Colorado was the second largest city in the state during the silver boom, topping out at 12,000 people in 1900. At last census, it's at 2,500 or so.
