Capital?[]

- Of course it makes sense. You think that someone who knows what a "Point of divergence" is will be helpless to figure out that a "Point of Divergence" is the same thing? Don't be ridiculous.

- Quite correct on capitalization of article names. Matthew's motivation was to get rid of the Point of divergence (lower case on divergence) redirect. He has been doing this for sub-titles in articles and article names he has previously created. As far as I can tell, this is the first time he has proposed changing an existing article's name. - And we have that redirect because there is a peculiar quirk that allows a hyperlink to a title whether or not the first letter of the title is capitalized, but will not allow that if there is another capitalized letter in the title. For example [[point of Divergence]] will still go to the page "Point of Divergence" more or less automatically, but [[point of divergence]] and [[Point of divergence]] won't go, and require redirects. Since flexibility is a good thing, and as piping such as [[Point of Divergence|point of divergence]] is cumbersome, directs should be welcomed. TR (talk) 18:55, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
