You know, I'm wondering if it might not be more elegant to call the grandfather and grandson Phostis the Elder and Phostis the Younger, respectively. Probably not: That has the feel of change for the sake of change. Turtle Fan 16:15, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

That in part. Isn't the "elder/younger" split reserved for political figures, e.g. Pitt the Elder vs. Pitt the Younger to avoid confusion. I've not read Krispos, but I have a hard time believing many people spend much time being unable to distinguish between the peasant father and the royal son. TR 16:26, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
The father died long before the son was born, and the closest we ever came to seeing them have any kind of "moment" was when the son, in one of his pre-Thanasiot moods, grumbled about how undignified it was for a Junior Avtokrator to be named after a peasant. So no love lost, not really. Turtle Fan 16:51, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
