Mark Gordian was a pseudonym used by Harry Turtledove on two occasions. The first was in December 1984 in the story "Hindsight." The main character, Michelle Gordian uses the name to mask her gender when she publishes stories in the science fiction magazines in 1953.
The following year, Turtledove had two short stories appear in the August issue of Analog. The first, "Les Mortes d'Arthur" was published using the Eric Iverson pseudonym and the second, "Notes from the General Secretariat" used the pseudonym Mark Gordian.

Fictional works by Michell Gordian[]
I was randomly bouncing around the wiki, when I came across the article on "Houston, We Have a Problem". I realized just how insubstantial the article was, and would inevitably remain.
I propose that we move the content of the various fake Gordian works here and delete or redirect the articles. TR 22:57, June 20, 2012 (UTC)

- For what its worth, I have no objection. On "Sunjammer I & II" see this article on Clarke's short story. There is no sequel mentioned I don't recall one either but the "See also" at the end of the article mentions Poul Anderson also published a short story with this title about a year later. I recall Clarke mentioning this in an intro to his story and suspect HT meant Gordian plagiarized the Anderson story for "II". ML4E 18:14, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
Supernova[]
"Supernova" was another story Gordian published that generated buzz with astronomers. Lundquist is thinking about it right after "Neutron Star". Off the top of my head, I can't think of a SF story that matches so I wonder if that was something she wrote herself based on the advanced science of the 1980s.
