"It later became the capitol of . . . again (briefly) the Kingdom of Hawaii."

My memory of the details of the machinations of the seizure of Hawaii is poor, but did this happen in OTL, or is it a bit of DoI that worked its way into the intro paragraph before the current OTL/ATL formatting was imposed? I can tell by the article that it predates that format and that we didn't go to any great lengths to bring it into conformity with the new dispensation, beyond breaking it into sections. Interesting Trivia

So interesting trivia I should note about the palace is that reportedly, it had working electricity and telephones even before the White House did. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 21:29, March 26, 2020 (UTC)

That probably is too esoteric to be relevant to Turtlewiki.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 21:31, March 26, 2020 (UTC)
Which I assume is why he's sharing it with us here and not proposing adding it to the article. (Though even that would be preferable to adding whatever he pleases into articles without floating his proposals on the talk pages at all.) Turtle Fan (talk) 04:06, March 28, 2020 (UTC)
Turtle Fan is right. That random piece of trivia was just something I wanted to share with everyone. I knew it would be pretty pointless to add it to the main article. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 19:00, March 28, 2020 (UTC)
