I've heard that every Hoo down in Hooville loved Christmas a lot, but the Grinch, who lived just north of Hooville, did not. Turtle Fan 02:22, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Actually, looking at the above, and remembering that USA came out in the Christmas season, I can't help wondering if HT was indeed being puckish. Turtle Fan 02:37, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

It must have been nice for HT to have an opportunity to be organically twee for a change. TR 13:43, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
It could have been just one of the little jokes he throws in, and would have been there regardless of the release date. But if it occurred to him at all, he surely must have realized that in early December people would be watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas and would perhaps be more receptive? Should we call this a literary allusion? The evidence is very thin, but having a Dr Seuss section would be so cool I wouldn't mind crawling out on a limb. Turtle Fan 03:26, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

I think that Hooville is a fair representation of HT's penchant for puns. So I think an allusion is appropriate. TR 14:17, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
