It's just going to have to be allowed to burn out on its own, methinks. They almost always do (swine flu anyone?), and when they don't we learn to live with them. That's much easier to do in a wealthy, productive society than in one that impoverishes its people with self-imposed sanctions.

From the same article about two-thirds of the way down. Being a relatively local news story, I also recall that it was an enclosed space with people heavily breathing and shouting encouragement. The suggestion from Provincial Public Health and some epidemiologists is that such group activity be banned but allow individual exercise sessions. ML4E (talk) 15:26, October 19, 2020 (UTC)
