Turtledove

I see you are saying that the radium-bomb destroyed the compound and Frankfort. My understanding is that it was a "dirty bomb" and not a nuclear explosion. I think that to say it destroyed something is misleading. It spread radioactive debris around making it dangerous to remain in the area but it would have had the damaging effect of a conventional explosive. ML4E 03:03, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Your are correct. Thanks. TR 03:53, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

I haven't read the book so I wasn't sure. Given that, I have also made a small change in the Vladimir Bokov article. ML4E 02:52, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Haven't read it? It's all right. Worth a look-through, if you don't mind the price or can find a way around it (ie library, bargain bookstore, wait for paperback, borrow from a friend). Turtle Fan 05:33, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Name[]

Since the GFF is based on the real-world Werwolf organization, should we change the name of this article into Werwolf and then add a subsection about the GFF?--Uskok 10:28, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

Probably not. HT used Werwolf as a springboard, yes, but the GFF's history is substantially different, with the program initiating a year earlier than in OTL, employing tactics and command structure completely different than what was envisioned for Werwolf (going by the article Uskok linked). Werwolf vs Werewolf[]

Which spelling did Turtledove use? Wikipedia, as from the above, uses Werwolf and has its source a 1910 novel set during the Thirty Years War. The articles have the name spelled Werewolf but is that what Turtledove actually used in the novel or a misspelling by the author(s) of the articles? ML4E (talk) 19:38, September 13, 2015 (UTC)

Werewolf. We should probably address that somehow. TR (talk) 19:43, September 13, 2015 (UTC)
