Turtledove

I picked this up in the bargain bin this weekend. I'll be working on it sporadically. TR 05:32, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Amazon wants me to get all excited about a "Playaway Adult Fiction" edition of this book for $40 that's coming out on July 1. Ho-hum. None of the stories interested me enough to care, but I am curious about what "Playaway Adult Fiction" is and why it's so special and magical that it would be worth spending $40 for a book that's been available at $8 for years. Perhaps something to do with their kindle product? TR 17:33, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
I doubt it--They've been making Kindle downloads significantly cheaper than regular books to help offset the high price of the gadget itself. Turtle Fan 19:27, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

AH[]

I just counted the stories in this collection and realised that only three are AH: "Must and Shall", "Ready for the Fatherland," and "The Phantom Tolbukhin." The others are all speculations set in OTL, stories set in fantasy worlds, science fiction set in the future, and the satire "Myth Manners' Guide to Greek Missology".JonathanMarkoff (talk) 09:18, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Different editions[]

Calling the purple edition a trade paperback isn't helpful. Aren't the purple and orange versions both trade paperbacks?Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 21:29, October 31, 2019 (UTC)

No. The "orange" edition is a mass market paperback. TR (talk) 22:19, October 31, 2019 (UTC)
