This "table of contents" is certainly not a table, and whether it provides the contents is debatable. It provides a list of the book's constituent sections, but doesn't a table of contents also have to tell you where to find them? Turtle Fan 06:55, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
Mirrane?[]
Is that supposed to be another story or what? TR 19:28, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Mirrane is a female Persian spy who appears in the last three stories of the series. I have removed it as the intent of that section was to list the titles of those stories. I have also changed the name of the sub-section both to make this clearer and to address TF's point. ML4E 19:47, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, it looks like Blaise was using that to create a new article on her. ML4E 19:50, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
Kindle Daily Deal[]
If anyone else has never gotten around to picking up this collection, but thinks they might like to, it's available as a Kindle download for $1.99. That price is only good today (11/21/2015). Turtle Fan (talk) 15:29, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. I've been trying to watch for it to hit $1.99. TR (talk) 18:06, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
- I get the e-mail saying what the daily deal is every morning. Once every three or four months, it's something I want to read. That makes it worth keeping it out of the spam folder all those other times. Turtle Fan (talk) 18:58, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
- On a related note, A Different Flesh seems to be more or less permanently on sale for $1.99. TR (talk) 19:16, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
- I might pick that one up next, though it's never been all that high on my list of things to read. Turtle Fan (talk) 20:33, November 21, 2015 (UTC)
First edition cover[]
What the fuck? Did the artist not read the book and simply note that one of the chapters was called "The Eyes of Argos," and just go from there? The setting also looks like a scene from Star Trek Movie 5, although the first AoB edition predates that.JonathanMarkoff (talk) 08:36, March 19, 2019 (UTC)

Agent of Byzantium first paperback cover. In some ways even more Star Trek-y the Original Series. Say Bread and Circuses. ML4E (talk) 16:34, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
- It's not exactly unusual for cover art to have distant and strange relationships with the book, you know. Turtle Fan (talk) 02:21, March 20, 2019 (UTC)
- Sure. Robert E. Lee with a uzi anyone? ML4E (talk) 17:17, March 20, 2019 (UTC)
More covers[]

I wonder if these covers could be used as sources for article illustrations. Basil at different ages, perhaps?Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 08:47, June 22, 2020 (UTC)
