Stanley Owana Laanui (b.c 1892) is the descendant of Queen Liliukalani of Hawaii who agreed to become the king of Hawaii following the Japanese invasions of the island in 1942. Laanui is a puppet ruler installed by the Japanese occupiers, and he resides in Iolani Palace in Honolulu. He is married to a haole, Cynthia Laanui.
