St. Jerome (c. 347 - 30 September 420), born Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus, was a priest from the Balkans region of Illyria in the Roman Empire. An prolific writer and theologian, Jerome is probably best remembered for translating the Bible in Latin.
As St. Jerome was never born in the Agrippan Romealternate, the task of translating the Bible into Latin fell to others, which contributed to the differences between the Bible of that world and the one of the home timeline.[1]
