Segimer, Segimerus or Sigimerus was a chieftain of the Cherusci and the father of Flavus and Arminius.
Segimerus was at first an ally of the Roman Empire. Both of his sons entered the Roman military. According to Dio Cassius, Segimerus was the second-in-command of Arminius during the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest. Segimerus, unlike his brother Inguiomer, is not mentioned in the Annals of Tacitus as having participated in the campaigns of Germanicus against Arminius.
