Sasquat was the indigenous language of sasquatches. By the late 20th century, it was a dead language, or nearly so.[1]

Umglatch was a Sasquat word that had no clear equivalent in English, and thus survived by being grafted onto that language. It meant something done better than properly even though it didn’t have to be done at all.[2]
