Sam "Sammy" Wong was an employee of Crosstime Traffic. He ran the outpost the company maintained in Berlin, at the very heart of the German Empire in an alternate designated "3477". When the outpost in San Francisco, Curious Notions was shut down by German authorities, Wong traveled there to rescue the store's proprietors, Lawrence and Paul Gomes. Lawrence had been arrested, but Sammy was able to collect Paul, who'd come to the attention of the Triads. He subsequently rescued Paul and Paul's friend Lucy Woo from the German authorities. He then took the Gomeses and Lucy Woo's family back to the home timeline.
