Sal was a female sim. In the winter of 1814, she took care of the injured trapper Henry Quick. Eventually, the two mated, and Sal became pregnant.
When the various weapons Quick brought to the camp helped escalate a conflict between the group's leader Martin and another male, Caesar, resulting in the crippling of the former and the death of the latter, Sal's affection for Quick vanished.
