S-71

The S-71 was a submarine in the Soviet Red Fleet during World War III. In May, 1952, S-71, under the command of Alexei Vavilov, picked up the Tu-4 crew commanded by Boris Gribkov after they successfully atom bombed Washington, DC.[1]
