Rof Golan was a Foitani planet still active in the late 30th century CE (standard Earth calendar). Its people had gray-blue fur, distinct from other Foitani breeds.
About this time, a Rof Golani expedition set out for the planet Gilver, to explore a mysterious fortress of the Great Ones, which had come to be called the Great Unknown. While there, they ran into another Foitani expedition. The strangers were from the planet Odern, a long-time enemy of Rof Golan, and a shooting conflict erupted.
