Robert Brown Potter (July 16, 1829 – February 19, 1887) was an American lawyer, and a United States Army general in the American Civil War.
Robert Brown Potter commanded the Army of the Potomac IX Corps at the devastating Battle of Bealeton. Henry Pleasants, one of his lieutenant colonels, was captured by the Confederates during the battle.[1]
