Richard Bernard "Red" Skelton (July 18, 1913 - September 17, 1997) was an American comic actor. He was a top television, movie, and radio star for most of his career. He'd begun as a clown.

Skelton served in the United States Army at the tail end of World War II. He was married three times.

Red Skelton in Worldwar[]

In 1964, Red Skelton starred with Bing Crosby in a movie in which the two comedians repeatedly got the best of a number of Lizards.[1]
