"Rails across Europe" was a board game brought from the home timeline to Milan and other cities in an alternate where the Soviet Union won the Cold War.[1] The game recreated the rise of railroads in Europe in the 19th century and was generally played by two people,[2] although three could play, which added new dimensions to the game.[3]
Gianfranco Mazzilli's interest in "Rails across Europe" led to his involvement with Crosstime Traffic.
