The Potez 63 was the overall designation for a series of twin-engine aircraft that were the most numerous in the French Air Force during World War II, acting as night fighters, day fighters, light bombers, reconnaissance aircraft, and army co-operation aircraft.
Potez 63 in Or Even Eagle Flew[]
After France requested an armistice with Germany in June 17, 1940, American pilots Amelia Earhart, Andrew Mamedoff, Red Tobin, and Shorty Keough stole a pair of Potez 63 two-seaters and flew them to the United Kingdom.[1]
