Pope John Paul I, born Albino Luciani, (17 October 1912 — 28 September 1978), reigned as Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and as Sovereign of Vatican City from August 26, 1978 until his death. His 33-day papacy was one of the shortest reigns in papal history. He was also the first Pope born in the 20th century, and the last in a line of 45 consecutive Italian popes that stretched back to 1523.

Pope John Paul I in "Under St. Peter's"[]

Like his predecessors going back to St. Peter, John Paul I was fed upon by Jesus the vampire, who was imprisoned beneath St. Peter's Basilica. Unfortunately, Jesus took too much blood. John Paul I died 33 days later. His death was enshrouded in mystery by the Order of the Pipistrelle.
