Mary Ann "Polly" Nichols (26 August 1845 - 31 August 1888) is often identified as the first victim of the notorious unidentified serial killer "Jack the Ripper," who killed and mutilated prostitutes in the Whitechapel area of London during the late summer and autumn of 1888.
Polly Nichols'killer, in truth a vampire, was never apprehended; he was buried in the foundation of Tower Bridge by a group of vampires called the Sanguine Club.
