Perdix was a hallow of Avornis. He was an ally of King Mergus, agreeing to marry Mergus and his concubine, Certhia, even though it was Mergus' seventh marriage, and therefore violated Avornan religious law.[1] Mergus made Perdix a high hallow,[2] and even elevated him to arch-hallow for a time.
