Pendleton was Consul of Virginia in the late 21st century. He was in office when war broke out with Ohio in 2097.[1]
Pendleton enforced a quarantine throughout the country when Ohio released a mutated measles virus into Virginia.[2] Pendleton took a take-no-prisoners approach to dealing with the country's enemies, especially the uprising of Virginia's Negroes. When the virus was released, Pendleton ordered aerial bombings of targets in Ohio.[3] Nonetheless, Ohio troops invaded Virginia within days, forcing Pendleton to divide his attention between the foreign troops and the uprising Negroes.[4]
After a brief period of fighting, Pendleton secured a truce with Ohio.[5]
While Pendleton was not physically imposing, he was a strong orator.[6]
