Panzer3

The Panzer III was the common name of a medium tank that was developed in the 1930s by Germany and was used extensively in World War II. The official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen III (abbreviated PzKpfw III) translating as "armoured battle vehicle". It was intended to fight other armoured fighting vehicles and serve alongside the infantry-supporting Panzer IV.

Panzer III in The War That Came Early[]

As the German Army rolled across the Low Countries and into France, the Panzer III was just beginning to enter service. Although vastly superior to anything on the battle field in western Europe, there were not enough to go around.

Panzer III in Worldwar[]

The Panzer III was Germany's main battle tank at the beginning of World War II. While technically it was hopelessly outmatched by the Race's Landcruisers, it still managed to get some kills due to the Wehrmacht's superior tactics and the experience of the crews.

Heinrich Jäger commanded a Panzer III unit during Operation: Barbarossa, and continued to do so during the early days of the Race invasion with some effectiveness.
