"One Touch of Hippolyta" is a fantasy short story by Laura Frankos, first published by Baen in Chicks and Balances, edited by Esther Friesner and John Helfers, in July 2015. Assistant Curator Elena Jimenez of the Hiram U. Rowbotham-Finch Museum in Graustarkton, Massachusetts, is reassembling an ancient Amazon statue, brought to the museum in the 19th century, when the statue comes to life. The newly revived Amazon, Harmothoe, helps Elena improve her life and the lives of others.

The story is self-referentially and loosely based on One Touch of Venus, a 1940s musical play by Kurt Weill and Ogden Nash.
