Ogden in The House of Daniel[]

Ogden was a fair sized city in 1934. Their semipro baseball team were the Gunners, who had been part of Utah-Idaho League until it folded.[1]

The House of Daniel played the Gunners in June, 1934. It soon proved to be a rough game, with players on both teams getting injured, and the crowd ate it up. The Gunners won, 7-5. An umpire helped the Gunners win by calling a House player out when he was safe.[2]

Ogden in Southern Victory[]

Ogden was the last stronghold of the insurgents during the Great War Mormon uprising.[3] After fierce fighting between the rebels and the United States Army that leveled much of the town,[4] Mormon leader Heber Louis Jackson surrendered there to US General Alonzo Kent in 1915.[5]

Ogden in Worldwar[]

Jens Larssen stopped in Ogden, Utah, on his way to Hanford, Washington, and visited Dr. Hiram Sharp, who diagnosed Larssen's gonorrhea. As the Race Invasion of Tosev 3 had disrupted supply shipments, Dr. Sharp had no medicine to treat the problem, and thus did not charge Larssen for the visit.[6]
