"Of Mice and Chicks" is a short story by Harry Turtledove, set in a fantasy world and first published in Turn the Other Chick, edited by Esther M. Friesner, Baen, 2004. It is an explicit parody of the John Steinbeck novella-play Of Mice and Men (1936). The central characters, Georgia and Lani, are two mercenaries who agree to fight on behalf of a feudal lord. Rather than ride horses, warriors in this world ride giant bunny rabbits into battle.
