Odern was one of the planets where Foitani still lived in the late 30th century CE (standard Earth calendar). Odern Foitani tended to have solid blue fur, unlike other Foitani breeds whose fur was blue mixed with another color.
In this time, a clique of Odern Foitani recruited a number of human researchers to help decipher the mystery mysterious fortress of the Great Ones, which had been discovered on the planet Gilver and come to be called the Great Unknown.
