The Northern Rockies Special was an express train from Prince George, Vancouver to Regina, Washington. It crossed the Rockies at the Yellowknife Pass and continued across the northern prairies of the North American Union. It had one intermediate stop in Edmonton, Albertus.

In 1995, Colonel Thomas Bushell and Captain Samuel Stanley took the Northern Rockies Special on their way to The Six Nations during their investigation of the theft of The Two Georges.[1]
