The North American Broadcasting Corporation was a wireless network heard throughout the North American Union. In the early morning hours, after the theft of The Two Georges, a reporter for the broadcaster telephoned Colonel Thomas Bushell for an interview. She did not wake him as he had been awoken by a reporter for the New Liverpool Ledger 15 minutes earlier. Bushell declined to be interviewed but in more temperate terms than he had used with the Ledger.
