A young newsboy who was hawking newspapers in Limehouse told J., George and Harris how to get to Lee Ho Fook's for the price of a shilling. When the three first got there, the newspapers the boy sold carried the headline "OLD LADY MUTILATED LAST NIGHT!"[1] After the three men finished their lunch at Lee Ho Fook's, the same boy had a new edition that compared the old lady's murder to one of Jack the Ripper's victims.[2]
