In Cecil Price's recurring nightmare, he, Muhammad Shabazz and Tariq Abdul-Rashid were stopped while driving through Neshoba County, Mississippi in 1964 by an unnamed sheriff's deputy, much as Price had stopped James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner in reality. In keeping with the backdrop of Price's nightmare, wherein the racial hierarchy of the state was inverted, the deputy was black.
The deputy was initially surprised that Larry Rainey, a long time member of RACE, was not the driver. After realizing who the three men were, the deputy, angry that the white Price was stepping above his station, and disgusted that "race-traitor" "rag-heads" were helping him, decided to take them into custody, and consult with the Priest, the leader of the local chapter of the Black Knights of Voodoo, a black supremacist organization that paralleled the real world's Ku Klux Klan.
After arriving at the jail in Philadelphia, he deputy forbade the three their phone calls, and ordered a secretary not to tell anyone that the three were there. Some hours later, he released the three men, and ordered them to leave town. He then followed them as they drove away, and stopped them once again at the edge of town. This time, at gunpoint, he ordered them into his vehicle, and took them to a secluded spot, where they were murdered by members of the BKV.
