Nagylengyel is a village in Zala County, Hungary. It was established in the 18th century. At present, the town's population is 482 people.

In October 1944, even as the Soviet Red Army had entered eastern Hungary, SS Haupsturmführer Joseph Stieglitz oversaw the capture and deportation of a Zigeuner village near Nagylengyel in western Hungary.[1]
