Munderic commanded a band of Unkerlanter irregulars in the Algarvian puppet Kingdom of Grelz during the Derlavaian War. His band conducted several fruitful raids against Algarvian and Grelzer forces. On one such raid, he rescued the Zossen peasant Garivald, who had been condemned to death by the Algarvians for singing subversive songs. Eventually, Munderic's luck ran out and he fell to a Grelzer stick. Garivald, much to his own dismay, was chosen by acclaim as Munderic's successor at the head of the partisan band.
